Chief Executive Officer - Colum Conway
MSW, MBA

Colum Conway has been the Chief Executive Officer of Extra Care since April 2007.
Colum completed a Masters in Social Work at Queens University Belfast and a Masters in Management at the Institute of Public Administration Dublin. He has significant experience in the not for profit sector, working with the Daughters of Charity Family and Child Care Service in Dublin, Barnardo's in Dublin, Waterford and Cork, and with The Early Years Organisation in Belfast. Colum is also on the Board of Directors of Care Alliance Ireland and the Independent Health & Care Providers (IHCP) in Belfast.
Deputy Chief Executive - Joan McGinn
BSc(Hons) Social Policy, DipMA, DipMS
After having worked with Extern and Bryson House, Joan first joined the staff of Extra Care in 1991 as Assistant Director of Finance and Administration. Following a short break in service in 1993 when she worked with the General Consumer Council as a Consumer Affairs Officer for Finance, she returned to Extra Care as Quality Standards Manager and was appointed Deputy Chief Executive of Extra Care in February 2004.
Financial Controller - Colin Jeffrey
FCMA, MIoD
Colin has considerable experience in the field of accountancy and finance. Colin started as a book keeper with Jeffrey Coldreams Ltd in 1983 and over the years moved on to become Financial Controller with Treatwater International ltd and then McCombe Bros. He was the Group Finance Manager with Wilson Group for several years, running the day to day finance management for 14 diverse companies before leaving to take a post of Financial Controller with CMM Electrics in 2007. Colin has been the Financial Controller/General Manager of Extra Care since August 2009
Director of Quality & Human Resources - Judith Jamison
LLB
Judith is a graduate of Queen’s University Belfast and following a career break to raise a family, she returned to employment in the voluntary sector working in a variety of roles and organisations including the Advice sector and Age Concern. Judith joined Extra Care in 2005. Judith is a Lay Magistrate and school governor and she and her family provide respite care for children with disabilities.
