Most people would prefer to have the choice to be cared for in their own homes. Quite often being able to have relatively simple and straightforward care needs attended to can make the difference to people staying at home in their own community.

Our staff come from all walks of life, all age groups, all genders and all sorts of backgrounds. Some of our staff have been with Extra Care for over 20 years and we have regular long service awards. We have a very low turnover of staff. When people come to work for Extra Care, they tend to stay.

At Extra Care we are interested in working in partnership with our staff to create the sort of role that suits them and helps them focus on the people who use our services.
